Presidential Communications
President Barchi communicated to Rutgers faculty, students, staff, and alumni via speeches, articles, and email about major initiatives of his administration, including a five-year strategic plan, a longer-term physical master plan, integration of the former University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey into Rutgers, merger of the university's two law schools into a unified Rutgers Law School, and Rutgers' entrance into the Big Ten Conference and its academic consortium, the Big Ten Academic Alliance.
